Callie and Mondo’s Epic San Francisco City Hall Elopement: A Day of Fun, Pizza, and Love!
When Callie and Mondo asked me to photograph their elopement at City Hall, I was so down. These two are not just clients; they’re dear friends who I’ve known for a few years, so capturing this big day was a total honor. And trust me, their elopement was nothing short of a blast!
We kicked off their epic day by meeting at the main staircase of San Francisco’s City Hall, where the energy was already high. After a quick stop to get the paperwork signed, we made our way up to the ceremony area. Their ceremony was short, sweet, and intimate — officiated by a local clergy member, with one of their best friends acting as witness. It was official: they were married!
But of course, the fun was just getting started. After they said “I do,” we took the most playful, fun photos around City Hall. We couldn’t stop laughing and soaking in every moment of their elopement, feeling the love and joy in the air.
Next, we ventured down into downtown San Francisco, where things got even more exciting. Our first stop? A cozy little pizza shop. The owners of Outta Sight Pizza were kind enough to open up just for Callie and Mondo, so they could celebrate with pizza and beers. We devoured the fresh, hot pies, cracked open a few cold ones, and laughed like crazy, living in the moment as newlyweds.
Outside, we snapped a few more goofy, celebratory photos in front of the pizza shop — the perfect backdrop for such an amazing day. The whole vibe was laid-back, fun, and totally carefree. Callie and Mondo embraced every second of being married, and it was honestly such a joy to watch.
From the elegance of City Hall to the chill vibes of a pizza celebration, this was the ultimate elopement party. It was all about enjoying the ride, having fun, and celebrating love in the most relaxed, happy way possible. Callie and Mondo’s day was a reminder that elopement don’t have to be traditional to be perfect — sometimes, the best days are the ones filled with laughter, good food, and great friends.
